摘要

An optically controlled switch-type active frequency selective surface (FSS) is presented. Results show that the bandwidth of this FSS is expanded to 4GHz; the transmission loss is smaller than 0.2dB; and the incident angular stability is excellent. More than 10dB attenuation can be achieved when FSS works in the cut-off mode and it has microsecond response time, which can effectively protect the electronic devices from damage by high power weapons.
