With the development of automotive industry, the quality requirements of sheet metal forming panels are constantly improving. In order to reduce cost and ensure formability, this paper simulates the forming process of reinforcing plate in the side bottom beam of an automobile by using Dynaform software. By analyzing and comparing the blanking force, coefficient of friction, stamping speed and convex die gap, the range of parameters in sheet metal forming process is obtained. In addition, the order of influence of process parameters on sheet metal forming quality was determined by orthogonal test: stamping speed > blanking force > coefficient of friction > convex die gap. The range method calculates a better combination of process parameters, which provides a theoretical basis for shortening the production cycle and reducing the cost of new products.
