During the synchronous lifting and salvaging of the shipwreck, the barge will undergo heave movement with the waves, resulting in serious problems such as uneven force on the strand, unstable salvage process and even strand breakage. In this paper, a passive heave compensation system is designed for the large load condition of synchronous lifting and salvage. Establish a mathematical model from the perspective of vibration and linearize the gas-liquid spring stiffness consisting of cylinder and accumulator as well as the damping of throttle valve. Furthermore, a set of parameters were designed for system model simulation. Analysis of the influence of the gas volume, the pipe size and the throttle valve opening on compensation performance from frequency domain response, time domain response and compensation efficiency. Finally, some conclusions are drawn to guide the design of passive compensation system.
