Here, firstly, load-deflection curves of TRIP steel were investigated at various deflection rates as a result of three-point bending test using the conventional material testing machine and a prototype of an impact three-point bending test apparatus based on the split Hopkinson pressure bar technique. Finally, the rate sensitivity and deformation behaviour of TRIP steels subjected to bending moment challenged to be clarified.
