The Seismic Evaluation of Systems, Structures and Components session covers all related topics of seismic evaluation of piping systems, storage tanks, equipment, structures and components. The present topic has been prepared under sponsorship of the Seismic Engineering Technical Committee of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping. Six papers are presented during two technical sessions on Seismic Evaluation of Systems, Structures and Components, developed for the purpose of promoting technical interchange and stimulating further research in the area of response analysis and design method of storage tanks, equipment, piping systems, structures and components under strong earthquake motion.
