The cost is steep and sometimes catastrophic when there is a component failure within a nuclear, gas, oil, or other critical industrial system. OAC-1 assembles experts in degradation, corrosion, and modeling to present how technology and empirical data can be used to accurately predict life expectancy of system components. This year we have technical papers and presentations in the area of reliability and risk assessment in the nuclear power and process industry presented in two conference sessions.
