摘要

This article presents a method to predict the maximum instantaneous frequency deviation for the dimensioning incidents. An online tool is developed and deployed using a regression model based on real measurement data. The rationale for this approach is explained from the swing equation. The developed model is validated to real incidents occurred in the Nordic synchronous area. The correspondence between predicted and measured values is also presented. Finally, the implementation in the EMS (Energy Management System) is presented.
