The Information System at the Radiology Service Department should record different types of data for every patient. All this information has a significant importance in helping in diagnosing diseases and improving the relevant treatment for the patient. The data at the Radiology Service Department at Mother Teresa Hospital in Tirana, Albania are mainly in a text format. The radiologists can use different kinds of terminologies and standards when defining the techniques, treatments and the results of the examination because the input is mainly in the text format. The Single Page Application (SPA) that we developed will offer all the necessary information for the patient examination in structured and categorized form in order to improve patient care, searching patient’s data, techniques, treatments and viewing DICOM scan images of the patient. This paper will analyze the technologies used in creating SPA applications. The implementation of SPA technologies in the Radiology Information System will offer high performance, reuse of components and synchronization of patient data in real time.
