In this paper authors analyze the possibilities of using forward looking sonar in the process of using it in an anti-collision system designed for underwater unmanned vehicles. Existing hardware solutions and data processing have been presented. The sonar image processing process has been analyzed. The concept of the model with the use of the decision support system with conclusions has been presented.
