The transuranic waste is a major concern for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel because of their long half-life and high radiotoxicity. Among the transuranic nuclides in the spent nuclear fuel, Pu-238 and Pu-241 keep high potential radiotoxicity for a long time. In order to suppress the radiotoxicity of the spent nuclear fuel, the poison material which suppresses the production of these radiotoxic nuclides is investigated. The Monte Carlo calculation was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of adding poison materials. From the results, it is confirmed that Dy-162 and Er-162 can reduce the reaction rate which contributes Pu238 production.
