摘要

An extension of Maxwell's equations is proposed to treat charge creation and annihilation. The proposed equations include the charge creation-annihilation scalar field to be almost equivalent to Nakanishi-Lautrup field, which was introduced to construct. Lorentz covariant electromagnetic field model for quantum electrodynamics. The charge conservation is caused by the confinement of charge creation-annihilation centers in the proposed model. Some simulation results of electromagnetic field propagation in ultrahigh-speed semiconductor devices by FDTD method based on the proposed equations are reported.
