摘要

Computer modeling and simulation of the properties of materials is becoming increasingly important. One of the major challenges today is to provide reliable models for non-linear and hysteretic effects in materials. The magnetomechanical effect, that is the change of magnetization of a magnetic material resulting from the application of stress, has attracted attention because of its complexity. Development of an accurate model description of the magnetomechanical effect becomes increasingly important in the development of stress sensors using magnelostrictive materials and applications of magnetic measurements to evaluation of stress in materials.
