Circulators/isolators are microwave components used in T/R (transmitting/receiving) modules. A circulator can be used as an isolator, if the third port of the circulator is terminated with a matched load. As wireless communication systems are flourishing and the operating frequencies are progressively increasing nowadays, there is a demand for circulators/isolators at millimeter wavelengths.
