摘要

Shock resistance is becoming very important issue for mobile hard disk drives (HDD)[1]. Taguchi Method[2] were applied for designing the suspension to improve shock resistance in operation and non-operation and positioning characteristics. The effects of eight parameters of the suspension shape for three characteristics were investigated. Finally we optimized three characteristics of the suspension by using weighted function and developed high shock resistant head suspension assembly.
