Online Video Conference System Using WebRTC Technology for Distance Learning Support

摘要

Distance learning is one of the ways to achieve equal quality education in a country like Indonesia. To support the distance education process, good technology is also needed so that the learning process goes well. In this research, we offer a new video conference technology solution using webRTC technology as a substitute for applications that still use flash technology. This technology allows users to conduct video conference activities. In addition, the layout of this system is made as closely as possible with the previous application, making the user feel familiar with this application. And there are some additional features that make it easier for users such as recording screen share feature. From the results of performance testing, this application is suitable for video conferencing due to getting a “good” category when testing QoS in accordance with ITU-T standards.
