摘要

Through the investigate of the traditional solar tracking system, we found that the conventional tracking system has problems, which is one controller can only control one solar panel. for large solar power plants, decentralized control is not conducive to the unified control, besides, decentralized control also increase the cost of maintenance. in order to solve these problems, the EtherCAT bus is applied to the group control system. in addition, the algorithms for calculating the declination angle and equation of time is simulated and compared. a solar panel group control system was designed.
