摘要

Wideband Tin oxide (SnO2) has drawn a great deal of attention due to its excellent properties in a gas sensing material, photovoltaic cells, fuel cells etc. In the present work SnO2 sample is synthesized by Sol-gel route. XRD study has been conducted for determination of crystallinity and the structure of SnO2 sample. The pattern gets indexed in Tetragonal phase and low-intensity XRD peaks (110) and (211) are noticeable, indicating that the crystallization of the SnO2 sample powder is underway from the amorphous state. Debye Scherer's (DS) formula is used for the estimation of the particle size. The morphological analysis of the sample is carried out by TEM (Carl Zeiss make Model No. EVO18). TEM micrograph has demonstrated that the particles are integrated together to form largely sized agglomerates.
