FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: synthesis of a powder intermediate product with phase composition: Ce0.09Zr0.91O2 20.6 wt %, MgAl6O10 37.4 wt % and γAl2O3 42 wt % is carried out in the aqueous-organic medium using nitrates as metal sources and monoethanolamine for sol formation and stabilization. Three-phase composite nanoparticles with size of less than 30 nm are synthesized by successive application of Mg-containing substance and solid solution of Ce0.09Zr0.91O2 from aqueous-organic sols on nanoparticles of γAl2O3, incinerated at 900°C with subsequent thermal treatment at 500°C what provides for chemical and phase powder homogeneity on the whole. Synthesized nano-powder is sintered using the method of hot pressing in argon at 1450°C and under pressure of 30 MPa with obtaining compact fine-grained ceramic.;EFFECT: produced ceramic has grain size of 0,4-0,8 µm and is characterized by high relative density and homogeneous chemical composition.;3 cl, 21 dwg, 2 tbl, 6 ex
