Application of 3D Scanning and Additive Technologies for Documentation and Creation of Physical Copies of Objects of Cultural Heritage

摘要

The paper describes documentation, computing reconstruction and creation of physical copies and replicas of some objects of Cultural Heritage, among which are inscriptions and damaged sculptural monuments. A way of restoring inscriptions is proposed, based on creation of a special matrix that is obtained by a combined use of 3D scanning technology and additive technologies.
