The Time Delay of Patent License in China

摘要

Using the patent licensing contracts registered in SIPO as the sample, to study the distribution of years, licensing modes, region, and discuss the characteristics of assignor and assignee. Furthermore, analysis the time delay of patent licensing. The results show that the most of licensed patents are individual, international licensing is less, the patent licensing has delay, and more than 90% patents are licensed six years later after application.
