A 1.2 ps-Jitter Fully-Synthesizable DTC-based Fractional-N Injection-Locked PLL using True Arbitrary Nonlinearity Calibration

摘要

A fully-synthesizable fully-calibrated fractional-N IL-PLL is p-resented in this paper. With proposed digital calibration, thebest jitter and FoM performance are achieved among fully-synthesizable fractional-N PLLs. And with the proposed DTCnonlinearity calibration, the fractional-N spur of this design is comparable to custom-designed digital PLLs.
