Sloshing and anti-sloshing problem is widely applied innaval architecture and ocean engineering. Random sloshing intank with a vertical baffle on a shaking table was investigated byvarying significant wave height and peak period. Effects of thevertical baffle in suppressing sloshing were found to be not onlyconnected with significant wave height and peak period of seawavespectrum but also closely related to the sea-wave spectrumpattern. The sloshing in a rectangular excited by broad bandBretschneider spectrum was always found to be more violentthan that under narrow band JONSWAP spectrum excitationwith the same conditions.
