The tank has a sloshing baffle (4) arranged at a tank inner sides and fastened with the inner sides at its upper and lower sides (17, 18), where the sloshing baffle exhibits convolutions (19, 20). The convolutions are partially designed as a trench, and an inlet is designed in the trench that extends into a swirl pot. The sloshing baffle is connected with the swirl pot, and is provided as a retainer for a channel. The convolutions are designed as a fastening region for a fuel pipe (21). The baffle and the tank are made of a same material such as high density polyethylene (HDPE). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a plastic tank.
