GTLェマルジョン燃料を用いた革新的燃焼コンセプトの提案: スモークレス拡散燃焼による大幅なエミッション低減

摘要

GTL emulsion fuel was examined using the latest diesel with common-rail injection system, keeping almost the same HRR with diesel oil. The results are as follows.(1) GTL emulsion of the same ignitability with diesel fuel can realize a stable combustion in idling.(2) In the wide range of engine operating conditions, GTL emulsion can reduce NOx and smoke drastically. Furthermore, thermal efficiency is improved due to keeping higher degree of constant volume.(3) By visualizing the spray combustion process in a constant volume chamber, it is confirmed that GTL-emulsion fuel achieves a soot-less diffusive combustion.
