1. 1968 - Field Scudder Container (FSC) begins production of Recycled Newsprint at their newly constructed facility in Alsip, II. 2. 1987 - FSC sold to Smorgon Consolidated 3. 1989 - New Construction Tissue Machine startup 4. 1992 - Conversion of the Newsprint Machine to Lightweight Coated 5. 1993 - Tissue Mill sold to an investment group. The two companies operate on the same site 6. 2000 - Madison Paper Company - Alsip acquires the Mill. Significant rebuild including a Voith Drum Pulper, Janus Calender, Sirius Reel; and a Valmet Winbelt Winder. 7. 2008 - Tissue Mill ceases production and is demolished 8. 2009 - FutureMark acquires the facility.
