摘要

1. Just telling us about errors will not actually stop us making one 2. Impressive human factors in engineering input at front end of cabin design but little evidence of cabin crew input as the client and user the interacts most frequently with the system 3. 'Shopping centre' design issues 4. Interoperability 'rental car" as fleets are changed and managed 5. Limited human factors investigation of events, data flawed by the lens of the investigator then poor analysis 6. Events hiding in data disguised as other types of 'errors' 7. Poor data limits the opportunity to learn from current analysis methods Ergonomics (or human factors) is the scientific discipline concerned with the understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, and the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance. Practitioners of ergonomics and ergonomists contribute to the design and evaluation of tasks, jobs, products, environments and systems in order to make them compatible with the needs, abilities and limitations of people.
