摘要

In this paper, we studied the effect of temperature gradient at the fluid/porous media interfaces on particle deposition. We took a comparative experiment of particle deposition under the condition with or without temperature gradient at the interface of porous media. The results show that the deposition amount of the particles with the temperature gradient is larger than that of without temperature gradient, and the deposition amount increases as the temperature gradient increases This is due to the temperature at the interface changes the fluid properties, such as viscosity and density, resulting in weak natural convection at the wall surface. We can express the relationship between the deposition amounts of particles with time under different temperature gradients better by segmentation function.
