The fault detection and diagnosis of the wind turbine can be effectively carried out by adopting the voltage and current signals of the generator. In order to realize the state monitoring and fault diagnosis of wind turbine, in this paper, the embedded fault diagnosis device for wind power transmission system with DSP - TMS320F28335 as core processor is designed. The hardware platform is built by using the rich peripheral interface module of F28335, in addition to providing the conventional single channel FFT spectrum and the fast Hilbert variable envelope spectrum, voltage and current signals can also be collected at the same time, to achieve the integration of two channels of instantaneous power spectrum demodulation and other special analysis functions. Through the fault simulation experiment and analysis to a pair of gears shows that the system can effectively diagnose the fault information of the gear, and the instantaneous power spectrum can fuse the fault information of voltage and current signal, the rotor excitation harmonic information of double fed generator can be restrained, it is especially suitable for the on-site inspection and diagnosis of the kind of the wind turbine generator system fault.
