摘要

A blog is also called a weblog. A blog allows people to share their experiences, express themselves and share their thoughts and passions. This paper explores the experiences from a group of students who were using Edublog in their course work. It attempts to identify specific practices in the student's blogging and link them with key concepts in experiential learning theory in order to illustrate the value of blogging in the classroom. The respondents were a group of 50 university students from a Kenyan University whose lecturer had created Edublog and introduced the students to participate in their course work during the January to April 2016 semester. Specific practices in the class blogging such as posting comments that challenged students' thought pattern encouraged them to review, reflect, revise and evaluate their thoughts. This underscores the importance of blogs as an appropriate environment that empowers students to nurture, foster and enable experiential learning.
