A survey on approaches for ECG signal analysis with focus to feature extraction and classification

摘要

The Electrocardiogram is a tool used to access the electrical recording and muscular function of the heart and in last few decades it is extensively used in the investigation and diagnosis of heart related diseases. It must be noted that the heart rate fluctuates not only because of cardiac demand, however is also influenced as a result of the occurrence of arrhythmias, diabetes and other cardiac disorders. ECG analysis has been established as a key element regarding the evaluation of human health status. So the analysis of ECG signal secured more importance during this time. In this work we survey the different features that can be extracted from ECG signal mainly based on its waveform components and the methods that used for classification of this ECG signals.
