DSA: Progress toward industry acceptance

Based on the forgoing survey of literature and results, we infer that DSA will reach adequate maturity for ITRS requirements by 2018 or 2019. DSA has unique limitations and challenges, but when combined with existing and prospective patterning technologies, it still has great potential to achieve a realistic and useful implementation in semiconductor manufacturing.
