VALUE ANALYSIS OF A DEVICE GROUP FROM THE ENVIRONMENTAL SIMULATION SEGMENT

Weiss Umwelttechnik GmbH und Votsch Industrietechnik GmbH are the market and technology leader in the environmental simulation equipment segment. In order to preserve its outstanding market position for temperature and climate test chambers in the future, the manufacturing costs must be significantly reduced. With the assistance of the external methodical competence from Krehl & Partner, a value analytics project was implemented for a representative Temperature and Climate Test Chambers and thus measures were shown for the reduction of costs and theimprovement of value which should also be transferred to the entire product programme. In addition to the formulation of three sustainable target concepts, the teamwork and project work was found to be very intensive and profitable so that one wants to implement the value analytics methodology in the Development Division for future projects.
