A Study on Theory and Method of Working Procedure Quality Control under Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Using Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) And implementing multivariate small-lot production is an inevitable trend in manufacturing enterprises. Group technology (GT) is the base of AMT. and the major access to improve multivariate small-lot production. But how to control the process quality of group production has remained unsolved so far. In this paper, a new idea about process quality control based on analyzing the traditional theories is put forward and furthermore, a method of designing control chart is presented, which is an economical access of determining sampling intervals and rate of unqualified products. Thus, the paper provides an effective method of controlling process quality in-group production economically and rationally.
