摘要

The objective of this work was to progress on several axis of investigation regarding the possible provision of a multi-constellation service at user level mainly based on NAVSTAR and Galileo positioning systems. Simulations based on EGNOS service volume simulator have been performed in order to define performance targets that could be obtained from such combination. It is important to underline that the purpose of such tools is not to conclude in absolute on the level of performance achievable but more to identify possible show stopper at an early stage and to orient the efforts to the most promising solution.
