An apparatus for tracking a satellite signal of a GPS/Galileo receiver is provided to improve a navigation performance and a tracking performance of a satellite signal by removing ambiguity in a demodulation process of a BOC(Binary Offset Carrier) modulated signal. An apparatus(200) for tracking a satellite signal of a GPS/Galileo receiver includes a code generating part(210), a correlation part(220), a code comparing part(230), and a control part(240), and processes a signal modulated by a BOC modulation scheme. The code generating part generates an estimation PRN code of a phase similar to a PRN(Pseudo Random Noise) code included in a received satellite signal. The correlation part outputs a correlation value by correlating the estimation PRN code generated in the code generating part with the PRN code included in the received satellite signal. The code comparing part detects a code phase error of the estimation PRN code generated in the code generating part and the PRN code included in the satellite signal based on the correlation value outputted in the correlation part. The control part controls the code tracking based on the code phase error detected in the code comparing part.
