Energy is one of the most important requirements in the world to function properly. Its demand goes on increasing day by day. As we are all aware, energy and fuel cost are rising and negative impact of global warming are more visible. Parabolic trough is the most efficient to concentrate the solar energy when comparing other solar thermal energy technology. In this paper, analytical study has been carried out for the parabolic solar collector. By the use of analytical data, fabrication of parabolic trough has been carried out and experimental investigation has been done with glass cover and without glass cover in parabolic solar collector.
