The pipe (1) has an annular space section (7) of an inner annular space (6) formed between a glass-metal transition element (10) and a connecting element (30). The connecting element and an expansion compensation device (20) i.e. bellow, include a circular ring-like front surface in an axial top view. A shielding device (50) is arranged at ends (1a, 1b) of the pipe, and includes a ring disk-like section (52), which is arranged at a distance before the front surface in an axial direction and covers a connecting region (100) of the connecting element and an inner end of the compensation device.
