The paper presents the possibility of mapping complex amplitude-phase characteristics of an analog analysis filter bank defined on the imaginary axis of a complex S plane on the unit circle of a complex Z plane. This way an equivalent discrete filter bank can be developed and next, used to calculate a discrete synthesis filter bank. The proposed method allows one to maintain stability in the BIBO sense of equivalent discrete filters and allows to reduce the error of mapping of amplitude-phase characteristic below an arbitrarily set threshold. In the paper non-standard analog filters has been proposed. Theirs amplitude-phase characteristics at the ends of the HFB system transfer band have real values. As the consequence proposed non-standard filters improves the properties of HFB systems.
