PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis filter bank, a synthesis filter bank, and a QMF filter bank circuit which are simple in the circuit configuration and is easily large-scale-integrated. ;SOLUTION: A matrix multiplier 30 multiplies a prescribed matrix S with an input signal vector, including an input signal vector to be received and a signal vector resulting from an output signal vector from the matrix multiplier 30 that is delayed via a delay element 33, delaying its input vector by a unit time and provides an output of an intermediate signal and provides an output of an output signal as a signal as the result of multiplication and the output signal vector. A down sampler 14 executes down-sampling processing at half the rate with respect to an output signal from the matrix multiplier 30 and provides an output of a 1st channel signal after the processing. A multiplier 35 multiplies a multiplicative coefficients with the intermediate signal from the matrix multiplier 30 for providing an output of an output signal as the result of multiplication.
