Scattering of general incident beams by diffraction gratings

摘要

A new approach is presented for simulating the scattering of time-harmonic electromagnetic fields incident on a periodic grating, which is transformed to a two-parameter family of off-plane diffraction problems. The algorithm determines adaptively the parameters for which these problems have to be solved in order to get a desired accuracy.
