Analysis of Images of Streetscapes by Text Data and Comparison between Residents and Visitors

In this paper, we deal with images of streetscapes and make comparisons between residents and visitors. The authors carried out an experiment in which residents and visitors took walks in a town and got pictures of interesting things. After the walks, they described the reasons why they had been interested the things. The described text data were measured quantitatively and the images were modeled by graph theory. The difference of the images between the residents and the visitors were revealed.
