Fabrication of one-dimensional photonic crystals by sol-gel method

摘要

One-dimensional multilayer structures of periodically alternating low refractive index (silicon oxide) and high refractive index (titanium oxide) materials have been deposited by sol-gel spin-coating. These structures have been characterized by atomic force microscopy, ellipsometry and visible-near IR spectroscopy with different angles of incident light falling.
