Wiener-Hopf Analysis of the Diffraction by a Finite Sinusoidal Grating

摘要

The diffraction by a finite sinusoidal grating is analyzed using the Wiener-Hopf technique combined with the perturbation method. The scattered far field is evaluated with the aid of the saddle point method, and scattering characteristics of the grating are discussed via numerical examples of the far field intensity.
