Fast ship detection for ScanSAR mode in wide sea areas

摘要

According to the characteristics of the Doppler history in ScanSAR mode, a novel ship detector is presented based on the raw echo data. The proposed approach is very efficient, since it does not need the computational imaging process. Its effectiveness is validated by an airborne ScanSAR real data set, collected by a C-band experimental system.
