Both the Xact CEMS and the Xact 625 ambient and fence line metals monitors have demonstrated accuracy, reliability and precision in study after study. The Xact CEMS is Method 301 validated and operated for several years on a hazardous waste incinerator passing all required relative accuracy test audits and other quality assurance criteria. The Xact CEMS has clearly demonstrated the measurement of vapor phase mercury as well as other metals of importance to the hazardous waste industry. There are over 50 installations of the Xact 625 globally and the Xact has been compared to other metals measurement methods by scores of researchers including those at Washington University, University of Massachusetts, University of Toronto and King's College in London. The Xact 625 has demonstrated excellent comparability to reference methods in scores of these studies. The claims made by the authors of paper number 7 are baseless, false and misleading.
