Gas is supplied to a combustor (5) and a heating unit over a condenser (4) of a power supply by the gas exhaust. The volume of thermally treated substances reduces to the volume of the original substances up to 97%. The condenser is arranged downstream of an oil separator. A cooling back plant (8) for the production of a cooling circuit is arranged between the oil separator and the condenser. A heat exchanger is assigned for heat recovery and/or pre-cooling of burner air of the heating unit. The temperature in the reactor is 250-800[deg]C. The original substances are in the form of minerals (e.g. sand, stones), wastes from motor vehicle, wastes from the mechanical treatment of wastes, dredging from the biological treatment of industrial and house waste water, organic plant protection agents, wood preservatives, other biocides, physical and mechanical surface processing of metals and plastics, wastes from waste oil preparation and medical and hospital-specific wastes. The thermally treated substances are restorable into economic circulation and in the form of ash with metal separations.
