A novel prepolymer functional additive(NPFA) containing carbamic acid ester, polyuriaandlong-chain n-alkanes was synthesized and its potential application to hydroxyl-terminated polyether (HTPE) binder was investigated.The density of prepared NPFA was 15.103g/em3whilethe viseosity of NPFA in 60°Cwas 15.103Pa·s.The onset decomposition temperature of NPFA was 165.7°C and the Td.max of NPFA was measured to be 317.5°C.The Tg of NPFA was-35 °C.With the addition of this functional additive, the mechanical properties of HTPE-based PUs improved a lot due to the ircrystallization and they kept the glass-transition temperaturenearly unchanged,as well as a good processing performance.
