New technologies, such as flight training devices which can mimic Nexrad radar latency and new mobile applications linked with 3D technologies can offer innovative solutions to meet the fast growing and diverse needs of aviation training. We will share a demonstration depicting how latency can be integrated into current simulation, and an application which allows training departments to customise mobile training to provide low cost intuitive learning opportunities. As the global aviation industry is challenged by changing demographics and new technologies, it becomes increasingly important to share new innovative solutions for training the next generation of aviation professionals, allowing us to look forward to generation alpha and their training needs for the future.
