1. SE7B/SE15B are high-performing estolide-based products, with numerous advantages over traditional lubricant base oils. 2. SE7B/SE15B are biodegradable as a neat fluids. In addition, SE7B is biodegradable as part of a motor oil formulation, and after use in an engine. 3. SE7B may have the potential to remove heat from lubricating systems due to its high volumetric heat capacity and good thermal conductivity. 4. Ongoing R&D shows that the potential for estolides is much broader than BT's current offering, and the future likely holds numerous estolide products/derivatives.
