摘要

The following conclusions can be draw from this work: 1. Surface roughness values were more uniform in machined surfaces after machining with Graphene dispersed in vegetable-base cutting fluid, probably due to the improved lubrication provided by the Graphene; 2. The results of the measurement of microhardness for both cooling-lubrication conditions suggested the occurrence of subsurface alterations, and it was more pronounced when machining with fluid without Graphene; 3. Chip morfology was affected when machining in presence of graphene and thinner and well defined chips were generated comparted to conditions without graphene.
